Queen of the Nile Necklace Tutorial

This lovely necklace is the result of my first design opportunity as a Starman TrendSetter: “Create inspirational designs that let your own style show through.” My design philosophy is to design for the novice to intermediate bead artist but to incorporate elements that will appeal to the advanced bead artist and keep the time to finish a project between three and ten hours. Worked in peyote stitch from the midline out, you will learn to increase and decrease in peyote stitch with CzechMates brick two hole beads to create the soft curves of the necklace. The first segment of the necklace contains sixteen bricks on the diagonal edge, the second segment contains eight bricks on the diagonal edge and the third segment contains five bricks on the diagonal edge. The necklace has a soft and supple drape. A single point of attachment clasp finishes it off.
