Nessie Bracelet

Nessie Bracelet

Inspired by the new ‘mini duo’ beads. I always love to see how new bead shapes stitch up with traditional beading techniques. Got Mini Duos? Got Two hole CzechMates Crescents? The Nessie Bracelet combines both with size 15° Japanese seed beads to create a delicate, ethereal, soft and supple bracelet that looks as if the Loch Ness Monster is rising from the lake. Worked in a faux Ndebele herringbone stitch this bracelet is a must for your bracelet collection.

O Bars

O Bars

Inspired by Starman’s release of the new CzechMates Bar Bead the O Bars Bracelet is worked in an adaptation of Ndebele Stitch with O Beads, two-hole Bar beads and size 11° beads. It has a supple drape and is easy to wear. What makes it unique is the way the Ndebele columns are worked with the O Beads and size 11° beads replacing the Bar bead on one-half of each Ndebele column. Use all one color of bar beads or multiple colors for a dramatic effect. It works up quickly.

Pyramid Scape

Pyramid Scape

This stunning necklace is reminiscent of ancient Egyptian jewelry. The Pyramid Scape necklace has nine dimensional peyote pyramids fastened across its center to represent the Ennead also known as the all-powerful 3x3 Triple Triad - completion, fulfillment and attainment. It is designed using multiple colors of CzechMates two-hole brick beads. Wearing the necklace promotes a sense of optimism and good cheer. You will learn peyote stitch with two-hole beads and learn to stitch the pyramids in a unique dimensional peyote stitch designed to create height with beads as well as color.

Salisbury Cathederal Windows

Salisbury Cathederal Windows

This bracelet was inspired by the windows of Salisbury Cathedral in Salisbury, England. Salisbury Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral and one of the leading examples of Early English architecture. Its windows pull at your eyes the instant you walk into the Cathedral. I used rich colors of CzechMates Brick beads to resemble the sun backed stained glass and a seed bead color to bathe them in sunlight. Each bracelet panel is worked in a quasi-square stitch and the panels are connected together with right angle weave.

Carnivale Bracelet

Carnivale Bracelet

This bracelet just screams Rio de Janeiro and Carnivale. The Rio Carnivale is a euphoric event where people dance, sing, party and have an overdose of fun. The project could be classified as a flat double spiral. What makes it unique is the way the flat sea glass beads cap the ends of the ‘spiral wings’ that radiate from a center spine of 6mm round beads. The striping of the seed beads adds to the Carnivale atmosphere.
