Rose of Thorns

Rose of Thorns

Love two hole beads? This elegant cuff uses seed beads and CzechMates two hole triangle beads released in Tucson in February 2014. The cuff is the result of my first design opportunity as a Starman TrendSetter. Worked in tubular Ndebele (herringbone) stitch you will learn to incorporate the CzechMates triangles as you work. The cuff works up quickly, makes a dramatic statement and is light weight and easy to wear.

Soft, supple and a delight to wear, this bracelet is constructed with Right-Angle Weave (RAW) and odd-count flat peyote stitch. Honeycomb Lace

Honeycomb Lace

This project was inspired by the tile shape of the CzechMates Tile beads. The pattern uses right angle weave and netting techniques and is a little simpler than traditional right angle weave because the Tile beads have two parallel holes which make it easier to get in position to add the next round. The bracelet is worked widthwise making it easy to obtain a perfect fit.

Brickbones

Brickbones

This lovely bracelet is the result of my first design opportunity as a Starman TrendSetter. Ndebele stitch has long been a favorite so I created a quasi flat Ndebele stitch to capture the look of herringbone weave with the bricks radiating in opposite directions from the center of the bracelet. The bracelet works up quickly and has a lovely drape. A single point of attachment clasp finishes it off.
